UNIT 5

VOCABULARY:

Retire: to  give up or withdraw from a job or career, usually because of age.                                                              
Elderly: approaching old age.
Toddler: a child who has just started to walk but may be unsteady on his or her feet.


EXTRA VOCABULARY:


Properly:  most suitable;right;correct.
Judge:  a person who makes a decision in a competition, contest, or matter at issue.


WRITING:




Writing task workbook: I think I did it well.





SPEAKING:
I think I did it well
 



LISTENING:
I understund all the listening but I didn't do very well.
 
READING:
Blog post: I understand all the words
Britain's got talent: I understand really well

 
CULTURE:
The culture that we had learn is: Information about a talent show in the UK.
 


GRAMMAR:

Unit 4

VOCABULARY:

Prize money:  money offered, won, or received in prizes.
Notes:  a certificate, as of a government or a bank, accepted as money.   
Pocket money:  a small amount of money, as for occasional expenses.

EXTRA VOCABULARY:

Messy: dirty, untidy, or disorderly.
Annoyedto disturb or bother (a person) in a way that displeases, troubles, or slightly irritates.

WRITING:

Keeping alive old tradition: I understand all the words.
